We want to play a friendly fixture, What do we need to do?

To ensure that your insurance is not void, you should only play a friendly match against another affiliated team.

You can check if a team is affiliated by visiting http://www.thefa.com/play-football

Once on this site, type in the the name of the area in which your opposition is based (EG. type in Leyland for Leyland Rovers FC) and a list of affiliated clubs in that area will be populated.

If the club you wish to play against appears there, then click on the club to see a list of teams. If the team is listed then they are affiliated.

If you cannot find the team then they are not affiliated. This should be highlighted to us via info@LancashireFA.com so that we can help the team affiliate

You should provide both clubs affiliation numbers to any FA registered Match Official who is officiating on the game.

If all the above is done, the game will be covered under your insurance
